Moccamaster KBGT Automatic Drip-Stop Coffee Maker (40 oz Thermal Carafe) | Stone Grey

Brew an entire pot of aromatic coffee in just six minutes with Technivorm’s Moccamaster KBGT Automatic-Drip-Stop Coffee Maker in Stone Grey. With a 40-oz capacity thermal carafe, there’ll be plenty to share, but because some mornings simply can’t be started until you’ve had that first cup, you don’t have to wait even those six minutes of brew time! Simply pull the carafe away at any time during the brew cycle and the drip will automatically pause, allowing you to fill your cup.

Handmade in the Netherlands and coming with an industry-leading 5-year warranty, Moccamaster ticks all the boxes on your quest for the perfect, tasty cup of coffee in one simple-to-operate coffee brewer. To bring out the perfect aromas from your coffee grounds, two conditions have to be met—temperature and time. If the water temperature is too hot or cool, or the brew time is too long or short, even the highest-quality coffee will taste terrible. To extract the best, fullest flavor from your grounds, with none of the flavors you don’t want, Moccamaster uses a unique copper boiling element that rapidly heats water to the optimal temperature (196°F-205°F) in just a few seconds and maintains the ideal temperature throughout the brew cycle, and then the water travels through the grounds in the perfect amount of time.

Operation couldn’t be easier, with a simple on-off switch. The water reaches temp in seconds, and then an automatic pre-immersion step blooms the grounds, soaking them for 30 seconds to cause the coffee to swell for a deeper, more complete extraction of flavor. Added to this, Moccamaster’s Ultra-Precise Drip System uses a 9-hole shower arm instead of a single drip, raining water over the whole basket, not just in one spot; again, a big impact on flavor.

Finally, the stainless steel carafe keeps coffee hot for around an hour—no hot plate needed. Simply warm it with hot water before brewing. Need to keep your coffee hot even longer or want to travel with the carafe? Switch to the included travel lid and you’re good to go.

You could choose a coffee machine with all the bells and whistles, but that wouldn’t guarantee you a great cup of coffee—sometimes simple really is best. Bring home a Moccamaster and discover what it’s like to brew the perfect “Golden Cup” of coffee at home!
