Kai PRO by Shun BBQ Set | 5-Piece

The Shun Kai PRO 5-Piece BBQ Set is the perfect range of essential knives that’ll equip you for any barbeque preparation task from chopping tough cuts of meat to breaking down poultry to boning & filleting fish before grilling. NSF-certified for use in commercial kitchens, Kai PRO knives are made of either Japanese AUS6M high-carbon stainless steel or DIN1.4116 German steel and hand sharpened on each side. Full-tang with a double-riveted handle, the PRO series knives are built to stand up to daily, professional use. The striking hammered blade finish on select included knives is more than just beautiful; it reduces drag and helps food release from the blade easily. With a limited lifetime warranty, you can count on the precision performance this Kai PRO knife set will bring to your prep work.

What’s Included:

7″ Cleaver: The Shun Kai PRO 7″ Cleaver features a wide & thick German steel blade that’s incredibly tough for performing large cutting tasks. This strong & sturdy knife is made of DIN1.4116 German steel with a hefty 4mm-thick blade that’s sharp and tough enough to cut bones for stock, chop meats, break down poultry, and even tenderize meats.

5″ Asian Multi-Prep Knife: Neatly maneuver around bones and between joints, trim vegetables, slice tomatoes and more with the 5” Kai PRO Series Asian Multi-Prep Knife. Called a honesuki in Japan, this small, nimble knife is crafted of Japanese AUS6M high-carbon stainless steel and has a triangular blade that’s perfect for de-boning poultry or trimming meats. The narrow tip is ideal for maneuvering around bones while the winder end makes slicing onions or trimming green beans easy. If you like a small, agile knife, the Asian Multi-Prep will be your favorite tool!

6.5″ Boning/Fillet Knife: Easily bone poultry or fillet fish with Kai’s PRO 6.5” Fillet Knife. For boning, the narrow and sharp curved blade gets in close to the bone, making it easy to separate meat. It’s also perfect for trimming the silver skin from a tenderloin or roast. Made of Japanese AUS6M high-carbon stainless steel, the 6.5” length is just right for gliding through the body of the fish, and quickly removing the bones and skin.

12″ Slicing & Brisket Knife: For perfect, even slices of brisket, ham, turkey, and roasts reach for the Kai PRO 12” Slicing & Brisket Knife. The long, narrow blade makes it easy to cut slices in a single pass, ensuring more of the juices and flavor stay inside the meat. And since the Japanese AUS6M high-carbon stainless steel blade is so long, there’s no need for sawing back and forth so you can be sure every slice will be perfect.

This set also includes a blade guard for each knife to keep them protected and safely stored when not in use, as well as a handy knife roll to keep them neatly together and ready to take on the go to your next summer gathering or BBQ!
