What’s Included:

8″ Chef’s Knife: A good chef’s knife is an essential tool in any cook’s kitchen. The Shun Kai 8″ Chef’s Knife has an ultra-sharp curved blade that allows for a smooth rocking motion while cutting and is great for both large and small cutting tasks. From slicing delicate fruits and tough vegetables to chopping through thick cuts of meat to dicing and mincing fresh herbs or aromatics, this multipurpose knife will succeed at just about any cutting task.

6″ Utility Knife: Sized between a chef’s knife and a paring knife, a good utility knife is a must-have for peeling or trimming food and lots of miscellaneous cutting jobs. The Kai PRO 6” Utility Knife’s blade has a small and light design that makes it easy to work with in tighter places where larger knives wouldn’t offer the right amount of precision and control. Reach for this utility knife every time you want to cut broccoli florets for a quick stir-fry, to remove the tough stems from kale, and to cut matchsticks of carrot or ginger.

3.5″ Paring Knife: For peeling fruits and vegetables, decorative cuts, and other small knife work, a good paring knife is a must for every cook. This 3.5” Kai PRO Series Paring Knife has a slightly wider blade than most paring knives, so it’s perfect for both holding the ingredient in your hand and working on a cutting board, making mincing garlic and ginger easy.

9″ Bread Knife: This bread knife is designed with a long 9″ blade that’s crafted with wide & slightly angled push-pull serrations that will gently and efficiently slice through both crusty and soft, delicate loaves without tearing or damaging. This bread knife is perfect for slicing bread, bagels, pastries, and other baked goods and can also be used to cut ribs & meats and tough fruits like pineapple.

6.5″ Fillet Knife: Easily bone poultry or fillet fish with this 6.5” Fillet Knife. For boning, the narrow and sharp curved blade gets in close to the bone, making it easy to separate meat. It’s also perfect for trimming the silver skin from a tenderloin or roast. The 6.5” length is just right for gliding through the body of the fish, and quickly removing the bones and skin.

9″ Combination Honing Steel: This honing steel is designed with a built-in angle guide on the handle, giving you ultimate precision while gently realigning the edges of your Shun Kai PRO cutlery and honing them back to their original 16° angle. This combination honing steel has a multi-surfaced rod with a smooth surface that’s ideal for daily/weekly sharpening and a micro-ribbed surface that’s ideal for monthly sharpening.

This set also includes a blade guard for each knife to keep them protected and safely stored when not in use, as well as a handy knife roll to keep them neatly together when stored in the drawer or cabinet.
