John Boos Chop N Slice Cutting Board 20″x15″x1.25″ Maple

If you want to take care of your cutlery there is more to do than simply sharpening and cleaning your blades, you need to look at the cutting board you are using them with. The wrong cutting board, made with the wrong materials, can dull your knives more quickly and do them long-term damage. To avoid this, it’s best to go with brands you trust, and few cutting board brands have been around longer than John Boos.

In business since 1887, this company has spent more than a hundred years perfecting the design of their cutting boards, and now brings you the Maple 20″ x 15″ cutting board with edge grain construction. Using edge-grain design ensures that the grains of the wood are in line with your knife, providing less resistance and releasing the blade without dulling it over-much.

Cutting boards that are designed without using the edge grain will slowly be worn down by the blade, the fibers of the wood cut and splintering while the knife is dulled from cutting the wood and not just your food. This 20″ x 15″ Maple Cutting Board from John Boos is reversible and is easily cleaned with hot water and mild dish soap, no scraping or scrubbing required! Grab up this great maple cutting board and add some time-tested quality to your countertop.
