John Boos Chopping Block (Maple) – 18″ x 4″

For a chopping block that will last a lifetime, choose a Boos Block! Crafted from Northern Hard Rock Maple, this John Boos 18” x 4” Chopping Block will make a serious statement in your kitchen. With end-grain construction that’s as striking as it is useful, this cutting board is designed to resist cuts and scars, plus it’s gentle on your knife. With end grain construction, the wood fibers are “on-end” and exposed, which allows the wood to absorb the blade strikes and then over time the density of the fibers will push back into place. So it will essentially self-heal. This means your butcher block is durable and will keep its eye-catching appearance.

At 4-inches thick, this 18” butcher block is ideal for heavy chopping jobs when it’s imperative your board stays in place. Beautiful, practical, and built for heavy-use, use this chopping block to bone poultry, fillet a fish, chop produce, or to serve the cheese course.
